We spend the weekend in London to visit the Jacket Required show. After Florence, Paris and Berlin, we were happy to spend a couple of days in the UK capital, only weeks before the opening of the Olympic Games 2012. The city was super busy and you could feel the energy before the grand opening.

We arrived Friday and right away hit Jacket Required. The show is perfect size and had a good vibe. Just really simple, with lots of great brands showing - everybody from Our Legacy, Garbstore, WoodWood, Mark McNairy, Denham to Brooks, Human Made was there. Of course we are missing lots of brands here, but just check their brand list here to get the full rundown.

After the show we hit a couple of stores. Next to Hide Out and Bape, we of course had to check out Dover Street Market and the all new Supreme store. Since DSM was closed, only re-opening its doors on Saturday with the new Fall/Winter 2012 Collections, we called it a day.

We stayed at the Hoxton Hotel in Shoreditch and several people recommended the Tramshed restaurant. Known for their great chicken and steak, the especially commissioned Damien Hirst sculpture in the middle of the restaurant is obviously very impressive. Dinner was simple, but very good.

Saturday we headed back to Dover Street Market and it remains to be our favorite London store. Junya Watanabe, visvim, Adam Kimmel, Lanvin, Celine, Undercover, of course all Comme des Garcons lines and a lot more always make it worth a visit. Just a general great vibe, beautiful and yet unique interior and amazing products. What else could you want. We also went to the new Supreme London store. Without a doubt the nicest Supreme store we have been to in terms of interior. Really clean. Obviously in true Supreme manner, its the end of the season and not much stock was left.

For the rest of the day we walked a lot, and the highlight of the day was the visit of the Barbican Bauhaus exhibition. A great history lesson and just all around incredible what this school did for design in general. You have to go should you make it to London while the exhibition is still running. The 50 Years James Bond exhibition also just opened, but was too crowded so we did not make it.

Well, thats all. It is Sunday and we are back in Berlin. On to a successful week in the store. Pass by!
