While walking the Pitti Uomo tradeshow in January we stumbled into a rather nice booth in the courtyard. We started looking at the clothing, the accessories and we were right away impressed by the look and quality. What is this label? We could still not find a name... and then, there it was - PRESIDENT's.
Shortly after the head of design walked in and with a big smile and a nice and heavy Italian accent walked us through the collection. When talking about all the details on each and every piece you could see his eyes shine and ours too and thus we could not resist making an order. Currently President's is only sitting in about 2-3 stores globally and we are really happy and excited to be one of them now.
The entire collection is made in Tuscany, the home of the brand. Cashmere is put together with water- and windproof materials, shirts upgraded with stitching and panels, pocket linings have hand-stitched details. When somebody is adding hand-stitching to parts of the garment that nobody sees (including yourself), you know they are the real deal.
A small selection from the Fall/Winter 2012 Collection has arrived at SOTO this week, including a chino, a longsleeve shirt and two beautiful/amazing/incredible jackets - the Trade Jacket and the Cotton Thermore Trench.
